tralveling back to San Fransisco for my birthday celebration seeing an concert. Booked into thesame hotel we used for new years. The hotel is located on 7th street about 2 blocks from market. The new federal building being there moved some of the seedier types out of the area, it IS better than a couple of years ago. The hotel has parking- about $* a day. Check in is easy, small lobbey with a photo booth to take snapshots of you as an guest. They didn't have the 2 doubles so to make up they waived our parking fees. The rooms have central heat. they are clean and comfortable with reading material stashed at the end of the beds. The bathrooms were unique with an washing station on the toliet(?). Water pressure was low in the shower. The rooms have a mini safe that you can use. convient. I did enjoy my stay and becouse i usually go to the bay for shows mostly i recommend this hotel. the staff is frendly and knowledgable.

For my money I'll definitely pick a nicer hotel next time, this place was like a hostel. The only way they get away with charging $* is because of the location, however consider you'll also have to spend at least $* a night to park. This place is old, the elevator was scary to say the least, and the rooms are only a step up from a hostel. Our toilet didnt work most of the time, the bed was small and uncomfortable and it didnt even have shampoo, soap, or a hairdryer. For the location it wasnt too bad but i'll definitely pass next time.

Honestly, this was not the best experience. Our small outdoor room was over the garage and very, very noisy. We had people talking and laughing sitting in front of our room until after 3AM. We were stranded at ATT park and called to get help. We were told they could give us a taxi phone number. As we already had been trying to call the taxi for two hours, this was not much help. The Marriott called for some people staying there The area is definitely not the best, or we might have walked back. The rooms were cute and clean. I have stayed in other hotels with this company and liked them very much. I was surprised at this one. I definitely felt it was overpriced for *.

We LOVED this hotel. The staff was so nice and the room was nice and clean. It was really close to Market Street and right by a BART stop. The pizza place that is in the hotel and the hamburger place across the street are both amazing! I will stay here everytime I go to San Fransico.
